Hooters have done some great marketing around paid parking, Instagramming Vegas and Criss Angel returns.
After taking time off to be with his son who had been diagnosed with leukemia, Criss Angel is back and seemingly better than ever.
The show features classic tricks; like sawing a woman in half, with his signature twists added. For a review of the show you can go here for more information.
In the modern world your popularity is often gauged by tweets, posts, hashtags, and as this article suggests, instagram presence.
Though Las Vegas itself did not crack the top 10 cities in the report, its hotels account for 5 out of the top 10 hotels Instagrammed around the world. They are as ranked:
As we posted previously, Caesars Entertainment will soon start charging for parking at all its properties. It is just one of the many resorts starting to join the paid parking movement.
However Hooters Casino Hotel happily rejects the notion of paid parking and released a statement saying they will continue to offer free self and valet parking.
Just to add more incentive for guests to visit, they also are giving away a free beer if a) you show a receipt from another Las Vegas Strip located parking garage or b) post a photo of your car in the Hooters lot, on Twitter and Instagram with the hashtag #IParkedForFree.
Now that's great marketing, whoever is in charge of marketing at Hooters. Big props!
