Travel Weekly recently published an article about the hotel-within-a-hotel concept, which after ten years has finally made it's way out of Sin City. The first hotel-within-a-hotel was inaugurated over a decade ago at MGM Resorts Mandalay Bay, however at the beginning of the month the 10-room resort at the Walker Inn opened.
The hotel-within-a-hotel features vintage decor, a secret hallway to the Walker Inn, a downstairs bar that targets craft-cocktail aficionados. You can find out more here.
Richard N. Velotta over at Review Journal posted about Station Casinos new loyalty card unveiling. As of Tuesday, card holders at Station Casinos and Hotels can earn points to spend on non-gaming amenities.
Under My Rewards, the loyalty program will have five tiers: Preferred, Gold, Platinum, President and Chairman levels. These levels are determined by the number of credits earned over a six-month period, the lowest starting at 1,000. Read more here.
