Home > A review of Caesars Palace Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas
Caesars Palace Casino and Hotel is a five star property located on the Vegas strip. Open for business in 1966, it is over fifty years of age. With four thousand rooms, it's regarded as one of Vegas' largest hotels and Caesars Palace is a phenomenal hotel in truth. Highly recommended for all Vegas travelers, new and old.
It's already known that Caesars Palace is one of the well-known hotels in Vegas, so finding information and honest reviews before booking was really easy. After researching online it became clear that this alongside the Bellagio and the Venetian, this was one of the hotels that wouldn't fail in giving exceptional service and I have to say we weren't disappointed.
This was for our main vacation of the year so I wanted it to not only include all the hustle and bustle of Vegas but also a trip to the Grand Canyon, so a ten day stay was in order. The rates for Caesars palace were a little lower than the Bellagio and the Venetian so it made sense to save a little money and book here, especially when they all had brilliant reviews and were all located on the strip. Caesars also has the Forum Shops, which was useful as my partner is a self-confessed shopaholic!
When we arrived at Caesars Palace we were blown away, having been to Rome before we could really see that a huge amount of effort had been put in to make the hotel feel like you were staying in a roman building, especially with the fountain outside and inside, the beautiful tiled floors, roman statues and murals throughout the lobby, it was just beautiful. I couldn't wait to check in and get to our room, I could see by my partner's face that she couldn't either!
Check in was so smooth, I would say that we were lucky that there was no one in front of us but I don't think that it would have been an issue either way , the staff were so friendly and polite and worked really efficiently whilst still providing excellent service. As we had booked an Augustus Strip View room we were in the southern side of the hotel near the Garden of God's, pool, this was really convenient throughout our stay. The Augustus tower has been recently refurbished and once we entered our room you could see all the little touches had been carefully considered. There was a traditional room feel to it with a modern twist; Cool grey tones are complimented by bits of royal blue and gold and a marble bathroom with a spa tub. We could even see the fountain of Bellagio from our window. Perfect!
I had contacted the concierge service before our stay; their website said that they would be in touch within 48 hours, true to their word they were in touch the next day. I was able to pre-book our evening meals at Roa's and Gordon Ramsey's restaurants, our trip to the Grand Canyon, our tickets to one of the shows, a few spa days for my partner as she's not a massive fan of the casino atmosphere, whereas I am so being able to book the spa for her before we'd even arrived was fantastic! I was even able to order some fresh flowers to be deliver for her on our anniversary, a load off my mind (I normally forget!).
If you're going to stay here I would definitely recommend using the concierge service, it saved us loads of time and it was nice to know that after a day of exploring downtown or coming back from a day's adventure like our helicopter ride, that our evening's would run smoothly and we wouldn't be left lost in the madness of Vegas. Some of the nights we didn't even leave Caesars and stayed here for the entertainment - I would recommend the Spanish steps, the drinks are reasonably priced and the DJ was brilliant.
We have been left over the moon with our hotel choice! It was an amazing experience and when we return to Vegas we will definitely be staying in Caesars Palace! It goes without saying that I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Food here is good-to-great with Caesars Palace buffets and restaurants in particular highly commended by food bloggers. The buffet price is a little bit high and Caesars Palace breakfast choices are also recommended too.
The hotel pool is top stuff as you would expect and Caesars Palace spa treatments including tantalising massages are a great distraction for when you want to spend an hour or so before or after swimming in the pool.
Caesars Palace rooms and suites are great and quite spacious. The design is straightforward and quite modern, beds are very plush, and the bathrooms are vast and also delightful.
